Genesis 3:8b: ….and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
When you study this verse out, looking at the Hebrew words you see this… Robin’s paraphrase 😉
the man and his wife (Adam & Eve) hid, they withdrew from Love (the root of hid) from the presence or face of Yahweh Elohim, perceiving Them (Father, Son and Spirit) as angry and turning from Them (Elohim), closing their eyes and severing the enclosure — the union they had with Yahweh Elohim (Father, Son and Spirit).
You begin to see that it was Adam and Eve that severed their union, their oneness with God… that turned from God. It wasn’t God who turned away… it was man!
